Office Policies

We are all so excited to seeing your child on his or her scheduled appointment date!

We will be contacting you a day prior to your appointment to confirm the appointment date and time, pre-register your child's information, and to answer any questions that you may have.
When you check-in for your appointment, we will need to copy the parent/guardian's driver's license and your child's insurance card(s) in order to bill your insurance company.
We ask that you arrive at or before your appointment time and plan on your child wanting to play a bit before their appointment!

Mission Statement

We want to make the childhood dental experience "Wonderfully Different" for every child and parent that walks in our door. We want to make going to the dentist as fun and enjoyable as possible and to honor God's calling by treating every child as a gift from Him.

Billing

The Dr. Trey's Children's Dentistry accepts cash and personal checks as well as the following credit cards:

  • Visa
  • MasterCard
  • Discover

We make every effort to explain in detail our billing of your child's dental treatment as well as decrease the cost of your child's dental care. Therefore, we request payment arrangements for all office services at the time they are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and Care Credit for your convenience. If we are a participating provider of your insurance company, we will bill them. However, payment is the patient's responsibility. We will help in any way we can to assist you in handling claims.

Please let us know if you have any questions or if we need to communicate better on the financial side of your appointment. We always want to communicate well and to make certain that you are happy with ALL aspects of our care ... including the financial aspects.

Appointments / Cancellations

With the exception of serious emergencies, it is expected that you keep all of your appointments. If you need to reschedule an appointment we require 48 hours notice. In such a case, please call our office and arrange for a make-up appointment with one of our patient care coordinators.

We have been so blessed to have so many families desire appointments at our office, that we have actually had to stop taking on new patients until we graduate some of our older, young adult patients on to general care. We want to give as many people flexibility in their scheduling and an opportunity to have a "wonderfully different" dental experience here. Appointment times can be filled and there are patients wanting appointments every day. Therefore, if you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 48 hours notice. This courtesy, on your part, will make it possible to give your appointment to another patient. Patients that do not give us at least 24 hours notice will be charged a rescheduling fee of $25.00. Missing two appointments without appropriate notice may result in being placed on an "inactive" status. Thank you for helping us to be able to provide a flexible schedule by simply letting us know if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. It'll help you too when you need an appointment time and someone has done the same! We're all working together here at Dr. Trey's Children's Dentistry family.

Emergencies

Dr. Trey's Children's Dentistry provides our patients with office forms for your convenience. We recommend you print and fill these forms out prior to your appointment to save time.
